Most pharmaceutical firms still sweating over 2009 plan

A majority of Korean pharmaceutical companies are still struggling to finalize their business plans for the new year, industry sources said recently.

External negative factors, such as the government's pressure to lower drug costs, have led many companies to say they have no plans to jump into a new business next year, raising fears that development of future growth engines will slow.
