Government to push cut in drug prices

The government will implement controversial drug pricing and reimbursement policies sooner or later despite opposition from pharmaceutical companies, according to market analysts.

The Health and Welfare Ministry hinted earlier that the new regulations aim to cut prices of pharmaceutical products and control soaring health insurance expenditures and will come into effect soon.
