Samil, Allergan to establish new JV company
Samil Pharm announced on June 7 that it signed an agreement with the U.S.-based Allergan Pharmaceuticals to establish “Samil-Allergan Limited Company”, to expand the eye care business in Korea.
Under the agreement, Allergan will hold a 50 percent equity in the joint venture company by buying the stocks of Samil’s affiliated company valued at 21.2 billion won.
