90 companies apply for smart project

A total of 90 Korean firms applied for the government’s new growth engine smart project aiming to promote the nation’s biotechnology sector, according to the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.

They are seeking to conduct 48 research projects requiring 30 billion won, which will be funded by the government
