Government-private panel discusses post-FTA steps

Korean pharmaceutical companies need to assess the damage that its free trade deals with other countries would cause in the local pharmaceutical industry in the future, a government official said.

In an information session on June 22, the health ministry official Ha Tae-gil said that domestic drug makers should focus on research and development of new drugs to survive in the post-FTA era.
