6.8% growth of drug sales forecasted in 2000

An analysis reported by Dae Woo Security Company forecasted the net sales growth of major listed pharmaceutical manufacturers having fiscal year ended at Dec. 31 at 2.9% in 1999, which is lower than 9.8% of 1998. However, the growth seems to be resumed upward again from 6.7 to 6.8% in year 2000 to 2001.
