Drug master file to cover excipients including talc

The Korea Food and Drug Administration says it will include various excipients and additives including talc into the drug master file from next year as part of its efforts to ensure the quality of pharmaceutical raw materials.

Under the current regulation, orphan drugs, DNA recombinant medicines, radiological drug and inactive ingredients are excluded from the drug master file.
