Ilaprzole patent to be extended by 2027

Ilyang Pharm says the patent right of its ulcer drug ilaprozole will be protected by 2027 in the United States after an 8-month negotiation with TAP Pharmaceutical.

So far, TAP completed phase II trials for a novel ilaprazole in the U.S. Thus Ilyang has sought protection of patent rights for such drug.
