Asbestos-contaminated drugs to be recalled within this month
The regional Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) said on May 15 it directed 42 pharmaceutical companies to promptly recall controversial drugs that are confirmed to have used talc or talcum powders with asbestos until May 31 at the latest.
