Concerns mounting over new pharmacy college plan

As two of Korea’s most prestigious universities ― Korea University (KU) and Yonsei University ― have revealed plans to open pharmacy schools, there are growing concerns over a fiercer competition in pharmacy colleges to attract top male students from middle schools.

“We have a deep skepticism about Korean universities’ willingness to open their pharmacy college," a pharmacy professor said.
