Non-prescription drugs for self-medication to be expanded.

To save the NHI fund and to prevent people from unnecessarily hospital calls for minor disorders, the government intended to reclassify prescription drugs more into the non-prescription or OTC drugs so that people would get benefits from their easy self medication with safe and effective non-prescription drugs that may not be prone to overuse or abuse.
