Drugmakers struggling to replace asbestos -free drugs
The Korea Food and Drug Administration said on April 21 that a total of 227 medicinal products, which were confirmed to have used talc contaminated with asbestos and banned from sale, were replaced by new supplies as of April 20.
The drug agency banned the sales of 1,111 medical products produced by 120 medical companies on April 9.
