Discontent mounting over drug sales ban

There is growing dissatisfaction in the local pharmaceutical industry as the country's food agency issued sales bans and recall orders on April 9 over 1,122 drugs and medical goods confirmed to have used talc contaminated with asbestos.

On the same day, the Korea Food and Drug Administration also banned the sales of 1,111 medical products produced by 120 medical companies.
