Manufacture of 400 items to be suspended

The Korea Food and Drug Administration says it will soon mete out administrative dispositions over 400 drugs that were found not to observe the small package regulation.

The punitive action was inevitable as 60 pharmaceutical firms were given a six-month grace period until June, according to the KFDA. However, an exception was allowed to low-priced, exit-prevention medicines.
