Waiver of GMP data for export oriented drugs eyed

The government will not require any GMP related dossiers in the approval process of export oriented drug applications as part of its efforts to boost pharmaceutical export, according to the Korea Food and Drug Administration.

The KFDA also said that it will issue a GMP certificate for conventional medicines upon request of health regulatory authorities in foreign countries.
