Civic group calls for strengthening drug safety regulations

The Korean Pharmacists for Democratic Society said on November 19 that the government will toughen rules on controversial safety of four medicines, as it is responsible for people’s health.
The five drugs include tramadol/acetaminophen, triazolam, gabapentin and methylphenidate.

The civic group called for the need to provide patients with necessary information on drug safety.
