50% of NSAIDs-receiving patients with arthritis receiving will have risk of GI bleeding

Nearly half of Korean patients with arthritis who have received nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) will be exposed to a risk of severe gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, such as gastric bleeding or ulcer.
The fact was made public in a survey of 2,105 patients who have had NSAIDs in nine general university hospitals and 122 clinics nationwide by the Korean Knee Society.
