Korean drugs deemed expensive

A survey of 38 new drugs whose insurance prices were determined until September this year showed that Korean medicines are expensive by global standards.

The Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service reported that 21 out of 27 medical products are more expensive than those in seven other countries, including Japan, France, Germany, Italy and the United States.
