Merck Korea files patent confirmation trial over Cozaar Plus
Merck Korea says it filed to the KIPO a trial to confirm the scope of patent right pertaining to Cozaar Plus against Yuhan, Hanmi, Samil, Hanlim, Chong Kun Dang, Dong-A and Yongjin.
The Cozaar Plus patent is to last until June next year.
Pharmaceutical source say that after the patent expires, generic versions of the product can be produced and sold by competitors.
