Doctors, pharmacists to face license suspension for illicit rebate
A bill to discourage rebates or kickbacks is proposed by Rep. Kim Hee-chul of the opposition Democratic Party.
Under the bill, doctors and/or pharmacists will be subject to a one-year suspension of license, if they are discovered to receive various sweeteners including rebates, contributions and payments of expenses for overseas trips for using their products.
