Licenses of 2,340 prescription drugs cancelled voluntarily for 7 months

The licenses of 3,776 medicines (including oriental drugs and raw material bulks) from 240 pharmaceutical firms were voluntarily cancelled by drug manufacturers in the seven months of this year owing to relentless price cut, validation and bioequivalence retesting, according to the Korea Food and Drug Administration.
