Enbrel’s health insurance coverage extended

Wyeth Korea says that patients with rheumatoid arthritis, who were not responsive to conventional tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors, have been benefitting from more extended reimbursement period of Enbrel (etanercept injection) from July 1.

Under the revised regulation, the national health insurance for Enbrel was limited to 24 months but now extended to 51 months.
