9 leading pharmaceutical firms fared well in first quarter

The nation's nine major domestic pharmaceutical firms made good start in the first quarter of this year despite negative factors surrounding the industry, according to data released by Yakup Shinmoon.

The combined sales of these leading drug makers posted 931.7 billion won in the three months to March, up 16.4 percent compared with 827.5 billion won from the previous quarter.
