Boryung seeks additional indication of Astrix

Boryung Pharm has tried to expand the treatment scope of Astrix (aspirin 100 mg) to cardiovascular disease (i.e., hypertension), citing that the benefit of aspirin for patients with known CVD is well established.

Nevertheless, the Korea Food and Drug Administration has yet to respond to Boryung's application due to lack of clinical data evidencing such indication.
